For those who don't already know, in a squares pool, everyone picks one or more out of100 squares. This is your typical 100 square football pool.At the end of each quarter of the game, the score is used to determinewhich square won. Only 1 square will be a winner each quarter. What you do istake the LAST digit of the first team's score, and find that number on the left. Then follow thatrow over to the column that matches the last digit of the SECOND team's score.Create your new squares pool! Note: if you are using Microsoft email accounts, such as hotmail, MSN, or outlook.com, youmay not get your validation email: I'm having problems with their email servers. It would be better if you could use a Gmail , Yahoo, etc. account. However,we'll get you validated one way or another even if you do use hotmail/MSN. |

Run a playoff pool
Since it's a while until the super bowl, you may want to run a playoff pool. You can do that for free here:fbplayoffs.com. This is a free site. The way it works is, WildCard Weekend is a pick-all, then divisional playoffs, conference championships, and the superbowl are a bracket.Running a monday-night football squares pool!
I see more and more people asking about running a Monday Night Football squares pool. What they want to do is keep the squares picks, but clear the numbers everyweek. So I've upgraded Squarespool Pro to allow for that: when you clear the pool, you can clear just the numbers, or just the boxes, or both. So for a Monday Night Football squares pool, you'llwant to clear the numbers, but not the boxes. You can also run a Monday Night Football squares pool with the free version by just creating a new page every week.

Example of a manual squares pool
If you're not sure 'what the heck is a squares pool'?, then looking at an example sheet I think will be betterthan 1,000 words in describing what we mean by 'squares pool':Squares Pool ExampleSo, at squaresPool.com we are doing pretty much what you see there, BUT we do it in an electronic format. (Much more fun!)
Squares pool Templates
We have a couple of Superbowl Block Templates you can download here: Squares Pool TemplatesBest numbers to get
Certain scores are of course more likely than others. Therefore, when they pick their square(s), they don't know what theNUMBERS are on the left and on the top. After everyone picks their square(s), the gamerunner will generate the numbers.
So, WHICH numbers are more likely??? I'll just go back to last year (2011) and see how many NFL scores ended in eachnumber. I'm skipping pre-season games, so up through the conference championships, you had 267 games, so you had 534 scores. So, which superbowl squares numbers are more likely, which ones happen more often? HERE IT IS:Number | Times Occurred | Percent | Scores | Comments |
---|---|---|---|---|
7 | 94 | 15.6% | 17 (42 times), 27 (27 times!), 7 (17 times), 37 (8 times) | Gotta get that 7! |
0 | 86 | 14.3% | 20 (39 times), 10 (26 times), 30 (14 times), 0 (5 times), 40 (2 times) | |
4 | 82 | 13.6% | 24 (40 times), 14 (21 times), 34 (20 times), 44 (1 times) | |
3 | 80 | 13.3% | 23 (32 times), 13 (30 times), 3 (13 times), 33 (5 times) | Looks like 3 or 4 are about the same |
1 | 41 | 6.8% | 31 (20 times), 21 (12 times), | THIS ROW is the cutoff! You want to have a 7, 0, 4, or 3! |
6 | 37 | 6.1% | I really would have thought 6 would be more common! | |
9 | 33 | 5.5% | ||
8 | 31 | 5.1% | ||
5 | 30 | 5.0% | Looks like 9, 8, and 5 are equally bad | |
2 | 20 | 3.3% | Gotta hate this one! The WORST one is a 2! |
Of course the problem here is that I just have the TOTAL score. I bet 3 is a lot more likely in the firstquarter. But my database only has final scores. If anyone knows where I could get a database of scores byquarter, could you let me know? My email is craigh01@gmail.com.
Or you can run the program to generate this page:Most Likely SuperBowl Square Numbers
Running it with just 1 number instead of 4 numbers
OK MAJOR UPDATE!!!. I have now added the ability for you to have just ONE number instead of 4! I still think it's a lot better to have 4 sets of numbers (one for each quarter), because if you get stuck with, say, a 2 and a 5, you are stuck with that for the whole game! If you have the 4 sets of numbers, you get tohave a new chance every quarter. At least make itmore fun so they can cheer and hope for their score to come up on quarter 1, 2, 3, AND the final score! So, EVERY quarter they can go 'come on... come on all I need is a field goal... don't miss it.. don't miss it...'(and then of course he missed it!). Or those that hope against hope can go 'all I need is a SAFETY in the next5 minutes...'... And then they get it! Can you imagine the screams on that one???
However, if you MUST do it with just one number, I now have that option! When creating your pool, there is a drop down foreither '4 numbers on each row/column', or 'just 1 number on each row/column'.
The dude put his squares pool on a spreadsheet
If your game runner is one of those dinosaurs who insists on running his game on a spreadsheet (or, even worse,on paper!), you can STILL use this site. Just take HIS spreadsheet, strip out all the crap leaving just the10 X 10 names, and you can UPLOAD the spreadsheet into this site. That makes it more fun during the game, everyonecan see who's winning, and you don't have to 'figure it out', the program finds the winner for you. AND, you can keepputting in possibilities, like, say, the score is 17 - 3 in the middle of the first quarter, you can easilysee who would win if it STAYS that way, or you can try it like, say, if the NFC gets another field goal who would win.

Point Spread Betting Super Bowl 2021
The point spread betting is a popular option for Super Bowl betting. With this, a bookmaker will offer a number of points that are added or subtracted from a team to create an even betting field. For example, the point spread for the upcoming event may be Team NFC -3.0 and Team AFC +3.0.
The team with the – sign is the favourite. With this type of betting, the favourite team will need to win the game by three or more points for the bet to win and the underdog would have to lose by three points or less.
Moneyline: Bet on Winner of Super Bowl
When considering a Moneyline wager when you are planning to bet on the Super Bowl, you will be betting on who the winner will be. These bets can be placed far in advance of the event. In fact, when you bet early, you will find the odds to be higher. This is because qualifying stages have not yet been completed. Over the past five years, the winners of the Super Bowl have been:

Totals: Combined Score Betting
Totals betting, or over under betting, is the second most popular form of bet placed on NFL games. When you are ready to bet on the Super Bowl, you may want to consider these options. You can find them at many Super Bowl betting sites and they offer some great odds.
With this form of betting, the bookmaker will set a specific number of points that they believe the teams will score in the game. When you wager, you will be able to bet on the total number of points scored by both teams combined and will choose whether that amount will be over or under the predicted amount.
These bets are not as complicated as they seem and you can find more tips and predictions on how to bet on top goalscorer here. Here, you can also learn how to bet on the Super Bowl using strategies for over under betting.
Props: Betting on Super Bowl
When you engage in Super Bowl betting, you do not always have to bet on who will win or who will lose. With prop bets, you will be able to wager on various player milestones or events that happen in the game. These do not always go hand in hand with the outcome of the event.
Some of the popular prop bets to enjoy include rushing yards, touchdowns, special teams, game MVP, and other things that can happen during the game.
Prop bets make betting fun and interesting. You will even be able to bet on things like who will win the coin toss, the colour of Gatorade poured over the winning coaches head, or who the MVP will thank when giving an acceptance speech. The options are endless, which is why this has become one of the top ways to bet on the Super Bowl.
Handicap Betting on Super Bowl
If you want to learn how to bet on the Super Bowl, you will want to learn about handicapping. Handicap betting is simply line betting and the act of handicapping is levelling the playing field for the teams in the event. Advantages will be given to the teams that are stronger so that both teams have equal chances of winning.
When you engage in handicap betting, you are basically using point spread betting techniques. One team will be deemed the favourite and the other will be the underdog. This type of betting is not too confusing, though it may seem so to those who are learning how to bet on the Super Bowl. Luckily, there are some great tutorials online that can be of use.
You will want to make sure you have all the information needed when placing any bet on the Super Bowl. With so many options and possible outcomes, there are endless ways to engage in wagering and start earning payouts.

Super Bowl 2021 Betting: Favourites and Predictions
The early favourites to win the 2021 Super Bowl were The New England Patriots. However, this successful team has been knocked out and is not a Super Bowl contender. At this time, the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers are the favoured teams to play in the Super Bowl.
Some other teams that are gaining attention during playoff rounds include the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers.
Based on performance, the Seattle Seahawks may also be a good choice to head to the event and possibly even be the next Super Bowl winner. Don’t rule out the Vikings though. Even though they are the underdog, they are still a strong team that can pull out a few wins and make it to the big game.
